2020–2021: Virtual 3rd Grade Teacher – Accelerate Education (Pennsylvania)
Taught 3rd-grade students virtually through Accelerate Education, serving public schools nationwide.
Developed and led weekly small-group Zoom sessions before AE had a live curriculum model.
Created a project-based program, “My Life, My Dreams,” integrating core subjects and SEL.
Guided students to produce MP4 video presentations reflecting their life stories and future goals.
Aligned all activities with AE curriculum modules for full credit toward coursework.
Self Awareness: Students better understand who they are, their talents, and values to discover their own dreams.
Responsible Decision-making: In the dream portion of the project identify how they want to contribute to the world.
Relationship Skills: Work in small groups to build relationships with classmates throughout the project.
Social Awareness and Self Management: In Zoom, they listened and provide feedback to each other.
